چکیده

هدف از انجام این تحقیق، بررسی نقش فعالیت های ترجمه در آموزش و یادگیری زبان انگلیسی است. نگارندگان پس از شرح مختصری در مورد پیشینه ی نظری موجود، گزارشی از شواهد تجربی مرتبط با تحقیق حاضر ارائه می دهند. روش پژوهش صورت گرفته، کمی و توصیفی، از نوع پیمایشی است. در این روش، نتایج بر پایه ی تحلیل آماری پرسشنامه، با استفاده از نرم افزار SPSS و از طریق روش های آماری توصیفی و استنباطی به دست می آید. افراد شرکت کننده در تحقیق، کلیه ی دانشجویان ترم آخر کارشناسی رشته ی مترجمی زبان انگلیسی دانشگاه بیرجند، مشتمل بر50 نفر هستند که به یک پرسشنامه ی محقق- ساخته، با روایی و پایایی مناسب، پاسخ می دهند. پرسشنامه ی مورد استفاده، نگرش شرکت کنندگان در پژوهش را نسبت به نقش فعالیت های ترجمه در بهبود مهارت های چهارگانه ی زبانی شان می سنجد. در پایان، پس از تأیید نرمال بودن داده ها با استفاده از نمودار Q-Q Plot و آزمون شاپیرو- ویلک، داده ها به وسیله ی آزمون T تک نمونه ای، مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار می گیرد که نتایج حاصل، حکایت از نقش مؤثر فعالیت های ترجمه در آموزش و یادگیری زبان انگلیسی دارد.

The Study of the Role of Translation Activities in Instructing and Learning of English Language Case Study: Students of English Language Translation of the University of Birjand

چکیده [English]

The aim of conducting this research is the investigation of the role of translation activities in educating and learning of English language. The writers after a brief explication about the existent theoretical background represent an account from the relevant empirical evidences to the present paper. The accomplished methodology of this research is quantitative and descriptive and of measurable one. In this method the consequences has been obtained on the base of the statistical analysis of questionnaires by the use of SPSS software and from the statistical methods of descriptive and inferential ones. The individual participants in this research are the whole senior translation students of the University of Birjand consisting of 50 students who answered to the certain questionnaire with a suitable form and permanence. The used questionnaires evaluates the conceptions of the participants in the research about the role of translation activities in the improvement of the fourfold skills of linguistic.  At the end, after the verification of normality of the data by the use of Q-Q Plot chart and the Shapiro-Wilk Test, the data has been analyzed by the use of single sample T test that the yielded outcomes shows the effective role of translation activities in educating and learning of English language
