The Azar-Barzin Mehr Fire Temple, according to ancient traditions was located in the territory of pārsava/parthava, near the historical region of Rivand in Khorasan, was associated with the property of the peasant class and was a symbol of farr(divine grace) and protection.This was a fire temple that embodied the eastern traditions of Iran during the Parthian rule.In fact, Azar-Barzin Mehr, along with Azar-Farnabag and Azar-Gushnasp, was a representation of the civil and religious divisions of the Sassanid Empire between the Parthians, Persians and Medes. therefore, it had a central position in a holy trinity.The overall aim of the present study is to shed light on the religious and economic position of the Azar-Barzin Mehr Fire Temple in the cultural geography of Khorasan.The method used in this study is the historical research method, which will be carried out by referring to original Zoroastrian documents, Middle Persian literary works, inscriptions, literary and historical-geographical texts of the first centuries of the Hijri calendar.The results of the research indicate that due to the existence of strong narrative or verbal evidence - meaning the citation of the main religious texts of ancient Iran to understand the ancient Zoroastrian teachings - that existed in the case of the Azar-Barzin Mehr, the high status of this fire temple remained preserved even despite the stratification of the Sasanian society and the degradation of vastriyušān class in the hierarchy.The research achievements of the current article are following: Investigating how the status of the sacred fire of Azar-Barzin Mehr changed from a mobile state to a immobile or vice versa, accurately identifying the origins of the word Azarbarzin-Mehr, examining the incomes of the fire temple, carefully considering the various angles of the connection between the name Azarbarzin-Mehr and the god Mehr, and also the relationship of the fire temple with
