The comparison of education and learning in two generation of faculty members of Birjand University From the sight of master role

Abstract
The cultural view to the studies of higher education is among the points that recently has been taken into consideration from the researchers of this field and has been caused new chapter of studies in pivot of university cultures. The culture of educating and learning is an aspect of these studies that has been explored the prevalent cultures of higher education from the aspect of the credence and belief of the faculty members to the process of teaching-learning. The reciprocal relationship between culture and education causes the culture movements through the headstock of time and transmit from generation to generation. Through this transmission and from the headstock cultural movements it is possible that the values and customs to be the subjects of changes and transitions and produces the difference between generations in the way that to being to speech of intergeneration changes. In this way, the study of the culture of education and learning among two generations of faculty members is not only justifiable but also is essential. In the direction of recognizing the current culture and from the “the role of university master” prospective as one of the components of educating and learning, these two questions has been set forth to discussion which are: in what things he sees his apostleship as a university master? And how he explains his relationship with students? In this direction, by the use of qualified approach (demography method) and on the base of aimed sampling, the perception of 26 persons of the faculty members of Birjand University has been explored. The data collected from the tools of deep interview of semi-structural constructed method and has been analyzed from coding method. The findings of research show that the faculty members of two generations have different perspectives towards “the master’s duties” and “the master-student relations
