Considering the nature of the Khorasan Quarterly of Social and Cultural Studies and its scientific rank, the emphasis of this section is on the method of organizing and writing research articles. Nevertheless, all types of articles, including promotional, review, etc, can be accepted and published based on the decision of the editorial board. Although due to the importance of research articles compared to other types, only the content and structure of research articles are described in this section, the common features of other articles are also discussed. Before submitting the article to the journal, it is recommended to consider the following points in its writing and editing:
- The article will be received only through the journal system http://farhangekhorasan.ir and the journal will not accept articles in presence or by E-mail.
- Articles that are not prepared according to the journal’s format will be returned to the author and will not be included in the evaluation process.
- In Khorasan Quarterly of Cultural and Social Studies, the specialized refereeing process of articles is in the closed refereeing form with at least 2 main referees and 1 comparative referee. The refereeing period for the articles is maximum 2 months.
- If you want to receive all correspondence, put an asterisk besides your name in the article registration section and then specify the corresponding author in the main file.
- The publication of articles in this quarterly journal is subject to payment. Pay the fee electronically and upload the deposit slip in the system. In accordance with the regulations of costing the articles processing in open access scientific journals provided by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology for 2022, dated May 14, 2022, all authors should be informed that, according to the agreement of the Managing Editor of Khorasan Quarterly of Cultural and Social Studies, dated April 21, 2022, the authors should pay 50% (500.000 Tomans) of the cost after refereeing process and the final acceptance and obtaining the publishing right agreement from the author and the remaining 50% (500.000 Tomans) after preparing the article for publication.
- If the author withdraws his article for any reason after the end of the refereeing process and the final acceptance, s/he is obliged to pay all refereeing costs. In addition, no other articles will be accepted from the author in the Khorasan Scientific Quarterly of Cultural and Social Studies.
- When the payment is required, an email will be sent to the corresponding author.
- Researchers should note that at least one of the authors (corresponding author) has to be a faculty member. Khorasan Quarterly of Cultural and Social Studies will not be obliged to respond, review and follow up on articles sent by other individuals (students of different academic levels who are only the authors of an article). It should be noted that the names of the authors will be in the same order as they were sent in the initial version until the time of publication.
- In the case of joint articles of students and professors, the signed text of the professor stating that s/he has read and approved the article must be uploaded in the system. The corresponding author of the articles extracted from theses must be the advisor.
- All correspondence is performed with the corresponding author and other authors will be informed only briefly.
- The follow-up of all matters related to the stages and results of refereeing, editing duration, acceptance and publication of the article should be performed only by the corresponding author, and s/he is responsible for the correctness of the content contained in the article and the list of references.
- The quarterly headquarters is not responsible for responding to the co-authors of the article.
- In case of rejection or non-acceptance of articles in the first stage by the editor in chief or at the refereeing stage, the board of editors is not obliged to respond to the authors, the quarterly headquarters is also not responsible to respond to the authors.
- The editorial board of the Quarterly could edit and summarize the article based on its discretion (without changing the content).
- If the authors have an article under review in the journal, they should not send the next article before finalizing the previous one.
- If the author(s) are not affiliated with a particular organization, their academic degree and field of study should be included.
- The content of the article should be related to the subject of the quarterly journal.
- Most of the articles in each issue of the journal are devoted to research articles that are reports of a specific research.
- The article should not have been sent to or published in any domestic or foreign publisher beforehand. It should be noted that the authors must refrain from sending the article to another quarterly journal for six months after submitting it to our journal. During this period, they should be informed of the status of the submitted article through the electronic system or the internal manager of the quarterly journal.
